🪪 Account, guest and character

Guest or account

• As a guest: pick a name and a look, done. You can play every mode and fish on the island – but your catches only count for this session.
• With an account: catches, shells, gear and pet are saved. You also get achievements, badges, a profile and friends.

Creating an account

• Tap “Log in” at the top right and choose “Sign up”.
• Username: 3 to 16 characters – letters, digits and underscore.
• Password: at least 8 characters. You don’t need an email address.
• Display name: how others see you. You can change it later.

💡 If you sign up while on the island, you take your catches, shells and gear with you.

Staying logged in

Your login lasts 60 days, also across several tabs. You can log out in the account menu at the top right.

Name and look

• Pick a color, hat, face and extra – or tap 🎲 “Random”.
• With an account, your look is saved and shown everywhere: in lobbies, on the island and on your profile.

Password, data and deleting

• Change your password or delete your account: in your profile under “Edit” → “Security”.
• Your data: under “Privacy & data” in the menu you can switch off usage statistics and download a copy of your data.
