Merchants: Frieda and Pit
Frieda buys your fish, Pit sells bait. You’ll find them at the beach and the village square.
Frieda: selling fish
- Her fish stall is on the beach in front of the pier. Stand in front of it and open the bucket (I or 🪣): that’s where you’ll find selling.
- The price depends on rarity and weight. Fresh catches earn more.
- She also buys curios from your backpack.
Daily demand and saturation
- Frieda’s chalkboard lists 3 species in demand today. They pay 2 times the price.
- If the whole island sells the same species, its price drops for a few hours. So spread out your sales.
The skill bonus
Players who are further along earn more. Each catch remembers a bonus when you catch it: it depends on your fishing level, the rod of the cast and a fitting bait. The bucket tab at Frieda’s shows the breakdown.
Pit and Kalle: bait and crayfish
- At the “Bait & Tackle” stand on the village square, Kalle’s apprentice Pit sells you bait in packs of 10.
- Kalle, who stands with his traps on the Long Pier, buys crayfish from your traps: 2 🐚 each.
- At Frieda’s and Pit’s you can also upgrade your bucket and backpack.
