Collect map scraps from messages in bottles, piece them together and dig up the treasure.
Finding map scraps
Some messages in bottles hold a map scrap. You find them while fishing and in traps. Four different scraps make a map with an ✕.
Searching for the treasure
- The minimap shows a search circle. The drawn map (tap it in your backpack, or L) shows the exact cross.
- A “hot”, “warm” or “cold” hint helps your search.
Digging
- Stand on the ✕ and press Q. Digging takes about 1.6 seconds. On a phone, there’s a “Dig” button.
- The chest holds 2,500 to 5,000 🐚 and 4 to 9 💎.
- On top comes something special: rare materials, bait, a hint about the secret fish or, very rarely, an egg.
- The lid pops open and the loot appears piece by piece. Tap the window to show everything at once.
The rare cosmetic find
- With a 15% chance the chest also holds a piece for your look that you don’t own yet: eye patch, shoulder parrot, anchor pendant, shell necklace and a few more sailor pieces.
- It shows up with “Rare!” and a preview, and goes straight into your wardrobe. If you already own them all, you get 8 💎 extra.
- Without an account you get the pearls but no piece – cosmetics always belong to an account.
