Quarters and the mountain lake
The island has grown outwards: four new quarters, each with its own purpose – and a clear mountain lake with its own fish up at Ore Mountain.
The four quarters
- Harbour Quarter – east of the boat rental: harbour office, warehouse, shipyard, snack bar and a long quay for fishing. The island aquarium is still under construction.
- Ore Mountain – behind the village, past the cliff on its west side: a lookout at the top, the tunnel mouth to the mine on the slope and the mountain lake beside it.
- Hut Bay – on the west coast: a sandy bay with spots for beach fishing, the carpenter’s workshop and plots for beach huts.
- Wild Trail – the forest path along the north-west coast: stumps to sit on, mushrooms, boulders, a shelter with a sea view and a few hidden corners.
Everything you know is still exactly where it always was – the island has only grown outwards.
The mountain lake
- Six species live only here – from the minnow to the legendary ore carp, which only bites at dusk.
- Different species bite by day, at dusk and at night. The fish log tells you more once you’ve caught one.
- You can set traps in the mountain lake too. Now and then one brings up an old miner’s lamp.
- Catch all six species to complete the Summit Joy collection set.
New neighbours
- Foreman Hannes stands in front of the tunnel mouth and wants to know if anything still lives in the mountain lake. From fishing level 3, reward 320 🐚.
- Carpenter Jupp works in the workshop in Hut Bay and needs driftwood for the first beach huts. From fishing level 2, reward 280 🐚.
- Harbour master Hella Poller now also drops by the new harbour office during the day.
- Both stories will continue later. You’ll find your progress under Village stories (O or the ⋯ menu).
Treasure and swarms
- There are four hidden spots along the Wild Trail. About 35% of new treasure maps lead there.
- Fish swarms now also pass through the mountain lake, along the harbour quay and into the coves of the Wild Trail.
Getting around quickly
On foot, it takes about half a minute from one quarter to the next. Every quarter has a signpost: walk past it once and you can later travel between the signposts you’ve discovered (M or the map button).
